Upcoming events:

6-7:30pm Monday, April 28 -- Roundtable discussion: UNTIL THE RULERS OBEY. Friends Meeting House, 530 26th Ave. N. Light refreshments. Our speaker will be Clifton Ross, one of the editors of the recent book "Until the Rulers Obey: Voices from Latin American Social Movements."

May 3 -- conference - canceled. NPJC's big conference is canceled. We couldn't get as many speakers as we were expecting. Watch for news about a slightly smaller event this fall, and/or an even bigger conference in March 2015.

6:30-8pm Monday, May 19 -- Roundtable discussion: WHAT KIND OF REVOLUTION? Friends Meeting House, 530 26th Ave. N. Light refreshments. This will be an open discussion, not a lecture. Here are some of the subquestions we hope to get people talking about: Will climate change and crop failures bring famine? Will the banks crash again soon? Is reform still possible? Can violence be avoided? Can capitalism be reformed, or must it be ended altogether? And so on. Bring your own questions and your own answers, but we may have to limit your time so that everyone gets a turn to speak. If people want to, maybe we'll divide into several groups according to topics.

NPJC contingent at the MLK march on January 20.
